French Open 1949 (badminton)

The 1949 French Open in Badminton took place on April 2nd and 3rd, 1949 on Rue Eblé in Paris . It was the 21st edition of the championship. The finals were played on April 3rd. Eddy Choong from Malaysia won the mixed and men's singles titles. In the semi-finals of the men's singles, Eddy Choong's compatriot Foo Sun Lau defeated 15-6 and 15-5 and Yat Sun Lau defeated French Yves Baudoin with 15-6 and 15-8.
