Ralph Nichols
Ralph Cyril Fulford Nichols (born August 12, 1910 in Islington , † May 27, 2001 ) was an English badminton player . Leslie Nichols was his brother. In 1954 he married his mixed partner Elisabeth O'Beirne .
Career
Ralph Nichols was one of the greatest badminton players of the 1930s. This decade was where his most significant successes occurred. He was successful ten times at the All England, among others . His track record goes well into the mid-1950s, when he won the French Open at the age of 44.
