Prakash Padukone
Prakash Ramesh Padukone (born June 10, 1955 in Bangalore ) is a former Indian badminton player .
Career
Padukone is a graduate of Bangalore University . He won his first title at the 1970 National Junior Championship and was India's senior champion for nine years, undefeated from 1971 to 1979. He founded the Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy in 1994 to promote talent in badminton. Today he lives in Bangalore , India.
Padukone is married and has two daughters. One of them is the actress Deepika Padukone .
