Zhao Jianhua

Zhao Jianhua ( Chinese  赵剑华 , born April 21, 1965 in Nantong ) is a former Chinese badminton player .

Career

Zhao Jianhua was one of the most important individual players worldwide in the second half of the 1980s and early 1990s. He won all the big titles in his career: He won the World Cup , the Asian Cup , the Asian Games and the All England in men's singles. Only badminton’s debut at the 1992 Summer Olympics came too late for him. At this point he was no longer at the height of his badminton career and was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the individual.
