Fresh Guacamole is an American animated short film released by PES in 2012.

Somebody is apparently preparing a fresh guacamole , only at second glance does it become clear that instead of the conventional ingredients a lot of surreal elements are used: The person reaches for an avocado , which is a hand grenade , the core is a billiard ball . The grenade has a green "pulp" that is spooned into a bowl. A baseball is then freed from its outer shell similar to an onion and divided up, the pieces turn into many small, white dice. A pincushion in the shape of a tomato is squeezed through a grid and turns into small red poker cubes, a golf ball is rolled and cut in half so that a citrus-like interior becomes visible, one half is placed in a press and "juice" is squeezed out of it, similar to a lime Then a light bulb, similar to a chilli, is plucked from a bush and cut in half. After the filament has been removed, it is hacked into small monopoly houses . With the white queen and black king of a chess game, the guacamole is “seasoned” with black and white sequins and then mixed with a mortar and pestle. The “eating” begins with a poker chip cracker that breaks when you first dip into the guacamole.

Fresh guacamole was produced in stop-motion ; animation by PES and Dillon Markey. Filming took place in Torrance , California. It is the seventh animated film that PES (actually Adam Pesapane) made. Fresh Guacamole was first shown both online and on TV as part of Showtimes Short Stories in March 2012 .
Awards
Fresh Guacamole was nominated in 2013 for an Oscar in the category “ Best Animated Short Film ”.
