Freya Van den Bossche
Freya Van den Bossche (born March 26, 1975 in Ghent ) is a Belgian politician and Flemish minister. The daughter of the former Belgian interior minister Luc Van den Bossche was the youngest minister in her country to date.
Life
She is a member of the social democratic party Socialist Partij Anders (sp.a) in Flanders (Belgium). Van den Bossche was Budget Minister, Minister for Consumer Protection and Deputy Prime Minister in Guy Verhofstadt's government . She was also a member of the Chamber of Deputies . Since 2009 she has been Minister for Energy, Housing, Urban Policy and the Social Economy in the Flemish Government under Kris Peeters . Van den Bossche is part of regular tabloid reporting and is counted among the "sexiest Belgians" .
