Fridolin Straube

Fridolin Straube (born July 31, 1877 in Neuplomnitz , Habelschwerdt district ; † after 1937) was a German politician ( DNVP ).

Life

After attending primary school, Straube learned the blacksmith's trade, which he practiced until 1906. He then worked as a workers secretary for the Association of Catholic Workers' Associations in Germany in Studzienna near Ratibor . From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War as a soldier . After the war he ran a small farm and worked as a civil servant chairman for the Reich Insurance Office .

After retiring from the workers' movement, Straube was involved in party politics. He first joined the Center Party and later switched to the German National People's Party (DNVP), for which he was a member of the Prussian state parliament from November 19, 1922 until the end of the fourth legislative period in 1933 . In parliament he represented constituency 9 (Opole). He was also a member of the Stahlhelm . In 1937 he joined the NSDAP .
