Fridtjof Kelber

Fridtjof FO Kelber (* 17th August 1938 in Hamburg ) is a German politician of the CDU and former member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life

For years Kelber was the school director at the Catholic secondary and secondary school Lämmersieth (now the Franz von Assisi School) in Hamburg. From 1970 to 1993 he was a member of the Hamburg parliament for the CDU . There he worked for the CDU parliamentary group, among other things, as deputy parliamentary group leader and in the urban development committee, the building committee and the school committee. From 1970 to 1986 he was also a member of the Bergedorf District Assembly .

He was a member of the constituency commission for the 2004 mayor elections and was the director of studies at the Jürgen Echternach Foundation for Education and Democracy (2001 to 2007). Since 2008 he has led seminars on political education for the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Cadenabbia on Lake Como in Italy. In 2008 he became President of the Association of Former Members of the Hamburg Citizenship.
