Frieda Steffen

Frieda Steffen (born January 12, 1959 ) is a politician ( CVP ) and Uri district administrator .

Life

Steffen is a trained specialist teacher of manual labor, housekeeping and sports. After a few years of teaching, she was elected the first headmistress of the Schüpfheim School of Agriculture and Farmers . In addition to her job, she completed her training as a farm housekeeping advisor, a teacher for housekeepers and a federally certified farmer. For fifteen years she was a rural housekeeping advisor for the Canton of Uri . She runs a family-owned farm. She has been a member of the Uri District Administrator since 2008 and is a candidate for the CVP Uri for the National Council in 2015.

Steffen lives in Andermatt , is married and has three children.
