The Friedberger Baggersee , also simply called Friedberger See and rarely Kreisisee , is located north of the B300 between Augsburg-Hochzoll and Friedberg in the district of Aichach-Friedberg ( Swabia , Bavaria ).

The "Friedberger Baggersee" is known beyond the borders of Friedberg for its water ski lift . Parking spaces, large sunbathing lawns, beach volleyball court, playgrounds, children's playground, children's beach, toilets and shower facilities, a restaurant with a lake terrace, disco, kiosk and watchtower are available.

The lake is a frequently visited destination for divers, as the very clean water, which is due to the above-average depth of the lake, enables an unusually good visibility of over ten meters. The underwater landscape of the lake is marked by cliffs and faults. Furthermore, the lake has an extensive underwater fauna, which increases the attractiveness for divers.
