Friedel Bertram

Friedel Bertram (born March 5, 1937 in Odagsen ; † May 16, 2014 in Hanover ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

After completing secondary school, Bertram completed an administration apprenticeship. From 1957 to 1964 he was employed by the district of Einbeck. He passed the second administrative examination in June 1964 and became an official of the Greater Hanover Association. From 1966 to 1971 he was head of the general administration department . From January 1972 to June 1974 he was personal advisor to the Lower Saxony Minister for Economics and Public Works, then advisor for parliamentary and cabinet affairs.

Between 1964 and 1970 he was a specialist teacher at the Lower Saxony Municipal Administration School in Hanover (for civil service and municipal constitutional law). Bertram was a member of the SPD since 1956 and was involved in various functions at the local association and subdistrict level. He became a member of the executive committee of the SPD sub-district Hannover-Land and was councilor of the Arnum community between 1972 and 1976 . From 1968 to 1974 he was a member of the district council of the Hanover district and from 1972 to 1974 deputy district administrator. From 1973 to 1978 he was a member of the association assembly of the Greater Hanover Association. In the 8th to 10th electoral term he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from June 21, 1974 to June 20, 1986. He was deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group between June 9, 1978 and November 22, 1983.
