Pleismar is a district of the municipality An der Poststraße in the Burgenland district of Saxony-Anhalt .

Pleismar is located south of the city of Bad Bibra and north of the city of Eckartsberga in an agricultural region. The federal road 250 opens up the area for traffic. 86 inhabitants live in the village.

history

The place was probably founded between 530 and 800. He was first mentioned in a document as Blisegrin in 1291. 1291-1370 were the owners of Markheßler feudal owners of Pleismar. In the 13./14. In the 16th century the place was a fort, but the knights of this castle were only mentioned in the portal documents from 1291 to 1357. Pleismar came to the Thuringian Landgrave in 1373. In 1378 it was assigned to the Finne District. When Leipzig was divided in 1485, Pleismar came to the Albertine Saxon office of Eckartsberga . 1494 had the one of Hessler in Pleismar Vorwerk with four  hooves land 10 yards and four desert Hofstätten. The inheritance book of the Eckartsberga office counted 15 possessed men in Pleismar in 1550, including 10 coaches with 2 horses each and 5 rear passengers. As early as 1619, the Parish Pleismar was mentioned with the places Schimmel and Gößnitz. In 1795 a new church was built, the old one being dilapidated.

In 1816, Pleismar was added to the new Prussian District Office Eckartsberga. In 1821 the foundation stone for building a new rectory was laid. In 1822 the village consisted of a farm and 30 houses with 150 inhabitants. Only the Vorwerk with 5 inhabitants still belonged to the Klosterhäseler manor, the other inhabitants were subordinate to the Eckartsberga court office. The schoolhouse was extended in 1830, when the ground floor was built is unknown. A separation recession was closed in 1848. On 16., 19. On August 1st and 21st, 1875, fire broke out at the court and church administrator E. Steinbrück. Since the cemetery at the church had become too small, a new cemetery was set up in 1891/1892. In the First World War 8 men from Pleismar lost their lives. On April 25, 1918, the roof of the Bornschein house burned.

Pleismar was first supplied with electricity in 1921. The following year the war memorial for the fallen of the First World War was inaugurated. The newly built schoolhouse was inaugurated on August 3, 1930. In 1930, Pleismar was one of the first communities in the district to purchase a motorized sprayer. Frauenhilfe was founded in 1933, the volunteer fire brigade on January 13, 1935. In 1935 a new syringe house was built. In 1937 Pleismar got three electric village lights. In the Second World War, 21 men from Pleismar lost their lives.

Three Hitler Youths between the ages of 15 and 16 were shot dead by American troops in Pleismar on April 11, 1945, shortly before the end of the war, and they were buried in Pleismar. A common grave monument was set for them.

In 1945 and 1946, displaced persons from the eastern regions also came to Pleismar. In a land reform on September 3, 1945, four landless farmers were given 7 hectares of land each, and three farms were increased.

In 1949 the church tower was re-covered. The parish of Pleismar was dissolved on May 1, 1950, Pleismar came to Klosterhäseler. On July 1, 1950, the municipality of Klosterhäseler was founded with the towns of Gößnitz, Pleismar and Klosterhäseler. An agricultural production cooperative with an initial 130 ha was founded in 1952. In 1959 it became a full cooperative, which the last farmer also had to join. In 1964 the GDR introduced the postcodes in all places, Pleismar got 4801. The roof of the church was covered in 1970, the tower hood was removed and a small tower was added. In 1971 a mourning hall was built in the cemetery, and in 1976 a water pipe that was connected to the Finne water pipe. The nurses' station was closed in 1980. A parish hall was added to the church in 1980/81. A new consumer outlet, which opened in 1989, closed again shortly after the fall of the Wall.

After the reunification of Germany on October 3, 1990, the districts of the GDR were dissolved and states were formed again. From then on Pleismar belonged to Saxony-Anhalt. An antenna service and a farmer were the first private companies to work after the fall of the Wall. From July 4th to 7th, 1991, Pleismar celebrated its 700th anniversary. On June 1, 1992, the place was attached to the administrative community Bad Kösen. In the same year, the road to the cemetery was covered with bitumen , and the pavements in the village were renewed in 1993. Since the introduction of new postcodes on July 1st, 1993, 06647 has been used. On July 1st, 1994 the districts of Naumburg, Nebra and Zeitz merged to form the Burgenlandkreis . A new bus shelter was set up in 1995. The volunteer fire brigade celebrated on 22./23. July 1995 its 60th anniversary. On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the church, the sponsoring congregation from Berneburg paid a visit to the congregation on September 24, 1995. The parish of Klosterhäseler and the associated places came to Bad Bibra on March 1, 1997. On September 13, 1997 the organ, which had been completely repaired, was inaugurated. Pleismar was included in the village renewal program in 1998. The former consumer building was sold in 2000 and a home was created.
