Wischroda is a district of the municipality An der Poststraße in the Burgenland district in Saxony-Anhalt .

Wischroda is located between Weimar and Halle (Saale) . The districts of Braunsroda, Frankroda and Schimmel belonged to Wischroda.
history
Wischroda was first mentioned in a document in 1004.
On July 1, 1950, the previously independent communities Braunroda, Frankroda and Schimmel were incorporated.
On July 1, 2009, Wischroda was incorporated into the new municipality of An der Poststrasse . The last mayor was Ingrid Hesse.
