Friedel Heuwinkel

Friedel Heuwinkel (born June 14, 1950 in Oesterholz-Haustenbeck ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was district administrator of the Lippe district from 1999 to 2015 .

Life and work

Heuwinkel trained as a farmer and passed the master craftsman examination in 1977. Since then he has been running his family business. Heuwinkel has been a member of the CDU since 1976 . From 1989 to 1997 he was honorary mayor and from 1997 to 1999 full-time mayor of his home community Schlangen . From 1994 to 1997 he was also deputy district administrator of the Lippe district.

Friedel Heuwinkel is a holder of the Steinheimer Rosenmontagsorden, which u. a. was also awarded to Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier , Jürgen Jasperneite and Simeon Graf Wolff-Metternich.

Heuwinkel has been President of the Association of German Nature Parks since October 2018 .
