Friedel Kloke-Eibl

Friedel Kloke-Eibl , b. Elfriede Helene Eibl , (* 1941 in Brühl ) is a German dance teacher and choreographer for sacred dance .

Live and act

Friedel Kloke-Eibl studied philosophy and language, according to his own statements in Cologne , Cambridge and Paris , and trained as a dance teacher. She lived in Iceland for two years . She was a student of Bernhard Wosien and worked with him from 1979 until his death. Together with Wosien, she organized workshops in various European countries. In 1981 she founded the “Sacred Dance” foundation in the Netherlands , her own institute for sacred dance, and in 1982 the dance institute “Demian - Institute in Moving” (Dutch) with 25 employees.

In 1990 she established the “Training Institute for Meditation of Dance - Sacred Dance” in Germany, with groups in Germany, Ireland, Brazil and Switzerland . The professional association of the same name, which is based in Heidelberg , was founded. From 1993 to 2006 she published the association magazine “Balance”.

Kloke-Eibl collected circle and sacred folk dances and published them on CDs and DVDs together with dance instructions. With her choreographies she developed and shaped meditative dance in Germany.
