Friedel Peisert

Friedel Peisert , married. Sternkopf (* 1932 in Jena ; † 2011 in Tübingen ) was a German artist who lived in Tübingen.

Live and act

Peisert studied painting and graphics at the University of Fine Arts in Berlin . She specialized in Fantastic Realism , Surrealism and Neoclassicism . In 1977 she was awarded the Villa Massimo Prize.

In 1981 she graduated from Universita delle Arti Salsomaggiore . She worked lithographically in the Wolfenberger workshop in Zurich and was a member of the Accademia Italia in Salsomaggiore and Parma.

She exhibited her works in Germany, Italy, France and Switzerland, among others, and these are represented in numerous public collections, e. B. in the university libraries in Tübingen and Basel, in the Gutenberg Museum in Mainz, in the Salon Wolfsberg in Zurich, in the Galerie Albstadt , in the Tübingen Institute Culturel Franco-Allemand and in the Basel Art Forum Hilton.

She died impoverished and lonely. Her estate comprised around 3000 works of art.
