Peace of Gisors 1188

The Peace of Gisors of January 21, 1188 was a treaty between the French King Philip II August and the English King Henry II.

With this contract, a campaign from 1187 was ended; Heinrich II acknowledged the loss of the berry with his signature . The treaty was concluded in Gisors , which lies on the border between the French and the Norman Vexin and thus on the border of the territories of Philip and Henry at that time.
