Peace of Gisors 1113

The Peace of Gisors of March 1113 was a treaty between the French King Louis VI. and the English King Henry I as Duke of Normandy .

The treaty ended the war for the Vexin and control of the middle Seine . Louis VI. ceded sovereignty over Maine and Brittany . The treaty was concluded in Gisors , which lies on the border between the French and the Norman Vexin and thus on the border of the domains of Louis and Henry.
