Friedenskapelle (Erling)
The Catholic Peace Chapel in Erling , a district of the Andechs community in the Upper Bavarian district of Starnberg , was built in 1870/71. The chapel , which stands on a hill east of the village, is a protected architectural monument .
description
The Peace Chapel was built in neo-Romanesque style on the occasion of the war against France . The two bells were taken from the abandoned church of the abandoned hamlet of Ramsee .
In addition to the lead glass windows , the stone floor, six benches, the Apostle candlesticks and the carved crucifix have been preserved from the original furnishings .
From the Peace Chapel, the pilgrimage continues to Andechs Monastery , it is lined with fourteen Stations of the Cross .
The cemetery at the Friedenskapelle was laid out in 1887.
