Jonava Peace Square
The Jonava Peace Square (lit. Ramybės skveras ) is a square in the center of the city of Jonava in Lithuania on Žeimiai Street, at the Jonava Old Cemetery opposite Santarvės Square , not far from the Jonava Art School .
history
In 1990 the memorial stone ( Atminimo akmuo ) was placed on the dead fighters for the freedom of the Lithuanian state. The square was established in place of the old cemetery that was closed during the Soviet era. Here is an obelisk as the tomb of the translator and doctor Jeronimas Ralys (1876–1921).
