Jonava old cemetery
The Jonava Old Cemetery (lit. Jonavos senosios kapinės ) is a cemetery in the center of the town of Jonava , on Žeimiai Street, in the Jonava district .
In Friedensplatz Jonava there are four monumental stones for unknown Jonavas residents, Jonavas Orthodox, Lithuanian voluntary independence fighters against Soviet occupation, for the German soldiers who died in World War II , monuments of the independence period (by the wood sculptor Andrejus Kazlauskas: crosses carved from wood and others), Abraomas- Kulvietis wood monument.
The old cemetery no longer serves as a burial place. The city's new cemetery is located in Šmatai .
