Santarvės Square
The Santarvės-Platz Jonava (lit. Jonavos Santarvės aikštė ) is a square in the center of the Lithuanian middle town Jonava , in the Kaunas district . In place, the management of is jonava district municipality , the Cultural Jonava, post office Jonava, Old cemetery Jonava , the art school Jonava , the library Jonava and other facilities. The square is 4 180 m². It is made of bricks with concrete blocks, clinker was used for the embellishment . There is a monument to Abraomas Kulvietis , a fountain . From August 2008 to May 2009, the square was renewed, valued at 2,269,080 litas (0.6 million euros ). The local company UAB "Jonavos projektas" prepared the project. The work was carried out by UAB “ Kauno keliai ” under the direction of UAB “Projektų centras”. The square was reconstructed with the Sąjūdis Square Jonava with EU support worth two million euros.
