Ensemble town center Unterirsham

File number: E-2-75-122-1

The ensemble includes the small clustered village of Unter- or Niederirsham with its eight densely packed medium-sized and small rural properties, which are essentially assigned to the three axes of a fork in the road, and the former sacristan's house. The place formed with the nearby noble seat Hirschstein, which was destroyed in the Middle Ages, a Hofmark, which was acquired in 1384 by the neighboring Abbey of Fürstenzell. Irsham lost its rank as a lower court district, but was the parish for the Fürstenzell monastery subjects until its church was demolished in 1812. While the sacristan's house still reminds of this function of the place, the church can only indicate the former location on the place of the inn's barn; her weather vane has been kept in the barn of yard 55. - The farms are multi-ridge systems from the 18th and 19th centuries, which are mostly closed on four sides. The residential and farm buildings are built in block construction or are massive plastered or exposed brick buildings; the village thus shows an excellent vivid cross-section of rural building from the early 18th to the late 19th century. House number 59 is also an inn and is characterized by a crooked roof, at property number 52 the Biedermeier stucco on the house and the two The wooden barn of the 18th century with traid and barn boxes is particularly remarkable. Property no. 65 has a relatively old traid box, no. 67 has a characteristic brick farm building from the late 19th century.

Remarks

  1. This list may not correspond to the current status of the official list of monuments. The latter can be viewed on the Internet as a PDF using the link given under web links and is also mapped in the Bavarian Monument Atlas . Even these representations, although they are updated daily by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation , do not always and everywhere reflect the current status. Therefore, the presence or absence of an object in this list or in the Bavarian Monument Atlas does not guarantee that it is currently a registered monument or not. The Bavarian List of Monuments is also an information directory. The property of a monument - and thus the legal protection - is defined in Art. 1 of the Bavarian Monument Protection Act (BayDSchG) and does not depend on the mapping in the Monument Atlas and the entry in the Bavarian Monument List. Objects that are not listed in the Bavarian Monument List can also be monuments if they meet the criteria according to Art. 1 BayDSchG. Early involvement of the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation according to Art. 6 BayDSchG is therefore necessary in all projects.
