The Engertsham Station is a breakpoint in the Lower Bavarian Pfarrdorf Engertsham ( Passau ).

history

The system was built in 1887 on the Passau-Neumarkt-Sankt Veit railway (this is also known as the Rottalbahn ) and went into operation on October 6, 1888, when the section between Pocking and Passau was opened.

As part of the expansion of the railway line, parts of the station facilities were renewed in 2009.

Buildings and systems

The reception building is a small quarry stone building that ends with a half-hipped roof . The arched window and door openings are set in red brick . The complex is registered under the number D-2-75-122-27 as a listed building in the list of the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation .

Today the station is the stopping point for regional trains (RB) of the Südostbayernbahn .
