The Friederike von Papenburg is a museum ship in the Emsland city ​​of Papenburg in Lower Saxony and the city's landmark . The ship is a replica of a wooden brig with divided Marsrahen , simple Bramrahen and Royalrahen , plus a bowsprit , inner and outer jib boom .

The ship is part of the open-air shipping museum in Papenburg and is located in the main canal directly in front of the Papenburg town hall. The types of ships in the open-air museum were recreated in the 1980s using the original plans by the Meyer Werft apprentice workshop and hoisted into the canals using a truck-mounted crane.
