Friedhelm Koerber

Friedhelm Körber (born March 11, 1927 in Vogelbeck , Northeim district; † January 16, 2010 ) is a Lower Saxony politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Körber was a trained machine fitter. During the Second World War he was called up as a soldier between 1944 and 1945. After the end of the war, he began working for the North German Portland cement halls in 1945. In the same year he became a member of the union and in the following year a member of the SPD. In Hameln he was elected chairman of the SPD. In 1952 he became a council member of the Vogelbeck community council. Four years later, in 1956, he became a member of the Council of the City of Hameln . Here he was a member of the fire protection committee, the transport committee and the youth welfare committee.

In the fourth electoral term, Körber was elected a member of the Lower Saxony State Parliament from May 6, 1959 to May 5, 1963.
