Friedrich-Karl Hartmann

Friedrich-Karl Hartmann (born May 7, 1897 in Coverden , Schaumburg-Lippe , † February 28, 1974 ) was a German forest scientist .

After his military service from 1915 to 1918, he studied forest sciences at the universities in Eberswalde and at the Royal Prussian Forest Academy in Hannoversch Münden . Hartmann was in 1922 at the University of Giessen to Dr. phil. PhD . From 1924 to 1927 he worked as an assistant at the forestry institute in Eberswalde and in 1927 as head of the forestry office. In 1928 Hartmann completed his habilitation at the local forest academy . From 1934 to 1936 and from 1950 to 1965 he taught as a professor at the Hannoversch Münden Forestry University.
