Friedrich Anton Louis Sckell
Friedrich Anton Louis Sckell ( 1796 in Eisenach - 1844 ibid) was a horticultural manager in Belvedere near Weimar .
He comes from the Sckell family of painters and gardeners . His father Johann Conrad Sckell was court gardener at Belvedere and from 1841 court gardener in Eisenach . Extensive work was carried out on Belvedere under him and his father. Today's image of Belvedere is essentially based on it. In 1830, Louis Sckell compiled an extensive catalog of the various plans , including older cracks and the like under the heading of garden cracks. a. by Franz Ludwig Güssefeld of the area of the Ilmpark , the meadows of Oberweimar.
