Friedrich Bartel

Friedrich Bartel (born July 3, 1877 in Maygunischken , Gumbinnen district , † after 1935) was a German engineer .

Life

He was the son of the mill owner Friedrich Bartel and his wife Charlotte nee Aschmutat and came from the Prussian province of East Prussia . After attending the Realprogymnasium and the Realgymnasium, Friedrich Bartel went to study at the Technical University in Charlottenburg . In 1924 he received his doctorate in engineering. The topic of his dissertation was: peat plants. Extraction, refinement, etc. Use of the burnt peat with special consideration of the peat power plants. In 1908 he was appointed government master builder in mechanical engineering, at the same time he was granted dismissal from civil service. As a government architect a. Friedrich Bartel stayed in Sopot in 1918 . He later returned to the civil service and worked in Potsdam as a government building officer. He also worked part-time for large newspapers.

He was a member of the Association of German Engineers and specialized in questions of electrical power plants, the management of railway construction and peat utilization. He was also a member of the Deutsche Maschinentechnische Gesellschaft and the Association of German Electrical Engineers.

His residence was Neubabelsberg , Böckmannstrasse 15.

He was married to Anna née Arnoldt. The son Hans-Jürgen (* 1911) emerged from their marriage.
