Friedrich Deidesheimer
Friedrich Deidesheimer (born March 1, 1804 in Neustadt an der Haardt ; † July 5, 1876 ibid) was a German merchant and winery owner. He campaigned for the preservation of freedom of the press and freedom of expression in Germany and was a speaker at the Hambach Festival of 1832.
Deidesheimer was a signatory to the invitation to the Hambach Festival. He lived in Neustadt, where he also worked as mayor. In 1872 a commemoration of the Hambach Festival took place, in which he gave a speech as a veteran of the events of the time.
