Maria Regina Kaiser

Maria Regina Kaiser (born December 29, 1952 in Trier ) is a German writer .

Life

Kaiser grew up in Steinheim am Main and graduated from the Offenbach Leibniz School in 1971 . She studied Ancient History and Classical Archeology in Frankfurt am Main. After doing her doctorate in 1976 with the thesis The City of Roman Coin Coinage During the Autonomous Rule of Commodus - Investigations into the Self-Representation of a Roman Emperor at the University of Frankfurt am Main , she worked there in research until 1986.

She has been working as an author of historical novels and detective novels , youth and non-fiction books as well as an editor since 1986 . After graduating, she lived in Frankfurt am Main and for over twenty years in Eschborn , since 2013 in Bad Camberg .
