Märkisches scholarship for literature
The Märkische Stipendium for Literature is awarded by the Märkische Kulturkonferenz eV . The scholarship is endowed with 12,000 euros and is awarded to authors to ensure their financial independence. The scholarship is not publicly awarded. During a reading in the Lüdenscheid city library , which usually takes place in a matinee on November 1st, one of the invited authors is selected for the scholarship. The audience has one vote in addition to the members of the jury.
