Tina Austria
Tina Austria is the pseudonym of Dagmar Meier-Barkhusen (* 1944 in Bautzen ), a German teacher and writer. She studied education in Leipzig and Altenburg . In 1974 she was caught while preparing to flee the GDR and imprisoned until she was ransomed by the Federal Republic in 1975 . From 1979 to 2000 she worked as a teacher in a vocational school in the Wesermarsch in Lower Saxony . After a long stay in Canada , she now lives in Rastede .
