Friedrich Ernst Wülker

Friedrich Ernst Wülker (born April 21, 1783 in Detmold ; † January 13, 1856 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German silver goods manufacturer and Senator of the Free City of Frankfurt .

Life

Wülker was the son of Anton Friedrich Wülcker and his wife Sophie Henriette Wülcker, geb. Hunke. He was married to Anna Katharina Wülker, b. Schott, daughter of Johann Heinrich Philipp Schott, silver goods manufacturer in Frankfurt (Johann Martin Schott company). The couple had four children. His grandchildren were the German scholar and archivist Ernst Wülcker and the English scholar and professor Richard Wülker .

From 1821 to 1856 he was a member of the Senate of the Free City of Frankfurt as a councilor. He was also a member of the Legislative Body in 1822 and 1825 to 1856 .
