Friedrich Ferdinand Franz Anton von der Leyen and Hohengeroldseck (born January 7, 1709 in Koblenz ; † February 16, 1760 there ) was a German imperial count .

Life

Friedrich Ferdinand was born the son of Count Karl Kasper Franz von der Leyen (1655–1739) and Countess Sophie Maria von Schönborn-Wiesentheid (* 1670; † 1742). In 1733 he became lord of Blieskastel , Münchweiler and Burrweiler . During his reign in 1734 an ironworks was founded in St. Ingbert and in 1739 he moved his residence to Koblenz.

He married Countess Maria Charlotte Auguste von Hatzfeldt-Trachenberg and Gleichen (1715–1774) in Breslau on October 18, 1733 and had four children with her.
