Friedrich Grüttgen , also Fritz Grüttgen , (born April 28, 1906 in Wesel ; † August 16, 1941 ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending primary school and secondary school , Grüttgen completed an apprenticeship as a mechanical engineer. He then worked for six and a half years in mechanical engineering at Gutehoffnungshütte . From 1932 to 1934 he was the branch manager of the National-Zeitung .

On September 1, 1928, Grüttgen joined the NSDAP ( membership number 98,543). From September 1929 to September 1932 he was the local group leader of the Wesel local group. In October he was appointed district leader of the Rees district and on January 1, 1935, he was appointed full-time district leader in Wesel.

From March 1933 to November 1934 Grüttgen was a member of the city council of his hometown. In April 1933, he was appointed a member of the district committee.

From March 1936 to April 1938, Grüttgen was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 23 (Düsseldorf West) . From 1937 he was mayor of Moers . He fell on the Eastern Front in August 1941.
