Friedrich Heinrich Loschge
Friedrich Heinrich Loschge (born February 16, 1755 in Ansbach ; † September 29, 1840 in Erlangen ) was a German doctor and university professor.
Life
The son of the landlord and wine merchant Johann Georg Loschge attended high school in his hometown Ansbach and studied medicine at the University of Erlangen from 1775 and in Strasbourg from 1777 . In 1780 he was promoted to Dr. med. PhD. He then set up as a general practitioner in his hometown of Ansbach. In 1784 he became associate professor of medicine and prosector in Erlangen, and in 1792 full professor of anatomy and physiology . In 1795 he was appointed councilor. He was retired early due to hearing loss.
Loschge was a member of the Lebanon zu den Drei Zedern and Alexander zu den Drei Sternen (occupied in 1781) in Ansbach.
