Friedrich Johann Georg Rauscher
Friedrich Johann Georg Rauscher (* 1790 in Coburg ; † May 21, 1856 ibid) was a German landscape painter and art teacher.
He was born the son of the Coburg court painter and landscape painter Johann Albrecht Friedrich Rauscher .
After his first painting lessons with his father, Rauscher studied landscape painting at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich with Johann Georg von Dillis from July 31, 1811 .
Rauscher was the court painter of the Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha . He was appointed professor at the Coburg Art School.
He painted views of German castles intended for the royal gallery in Buckingham Palace .
