Johann Albrecht Friedrich Rauscher
Johann Albrecht Friedrich Rauscher (born January 2, 1754 in Coburg ; † April 12, 1808 there ) was a German landscape painter and etcher .
Rauscher studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . He was the court painter of the Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha . He painted and etched extensive idyllic landscapes with tiny human and animal figures in the foreground. He was the father of landscape painter Friedrich Johann Georg Rauscher (1790–1856).
