Friedrich Leisch
Friedrich Leisch (born July 31, 1968 in Vienna ) is an Austrian statistician .
Life
Friedrich Leisch grew up in Vienna. He studied technical mathematics at the Vienna University of Technology , received his doctorate under Kurt Hornik in 1999 and qualified as a professor in statistics in 2005. From 2006 to 2011 he was Professor of Statistics at the University of Munich , currently he is a full professor at the Institute for Statistics at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna .
