Friedrich Maurach

Friedrich Wilhelm Leberecht Maurach (born October 4, 1811 in Memel ; † April 20, 1873 ) was a Prussian civil servant and district president of Gumbinnen (1863-1870) and Bromberg (1870-1873).

Life

From 1848 Maurach was provisional district administrator of the district of Oschersleben and from 1850 to 1854 permanently. In 1855 he became police president of Königsberg (Prussia) until he was appointed regional president of Gumbinnen in 1863.

family

His brother Richard Friedrich Maurach († 1882) was a higher regional judge in Insterburg .
