Career

Nick Cousins ​​played in the 2008/09 season for the Trenton Hercs in the Ontario Junior Hockey League , a Canadian junior league. In the Priority Selection 2009 of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), in which the OHL teams had the opportunity to obtain rights to talented young players, the center was in the second round in 21st overall position by the Sault Ste. At times, the center forward played for Philadelphia's new farm team, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms , before he made it to the regular squad of the NHL club during the 2015/16 season . After completing his first full season there in the 2016/17 season, he was transferred to league rivals Arizona Coyotes in June 2017 as part of a transfer deal .

Subsequently, Cousins ​​was active for the Coyotes for two years and achieved his best NHL statistic to date with 27 points in the 2018/19 season. He then moved to the Canadiens de Montréal as a free agent in July 2019 . He was active in these until the trade deadline in February 2020, when he was given to the Vegas Golden Knights in exchange for a four-round vote in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft .

International

Nick Cousins ​​represented his home country with the Canadian national team for the first time in an international competition at the 2011 U18 World Youth Championship .
