Friedrich Nagel (politician)

Johann Friedrich Nagel (born July 24, 1810 in Mergentheim , † November 26, 1884 in Rottweil ) was a German politician and lawyer .

Life

Friedrich Nagel was the son of the court clerk of the same name in Mergentheim and attended Latin school in Esslingen and Balingen . After working as a scribe at the Urach Higher Regional Court in 1829, he studied law at the University of Tübingen from 1830 to 1835 . As early as 1833, he was also working as a legal trainee in Balingen, where he settled as a legal counsel in 1836 .

From February 5, 1849 until the end of the rump parliament on June 18, 1849, he represented Wilhelm Murschel's successor in the 2nd Black Forest District (Balingen) as a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly . There he belonged to the left parliamentary group Deutscher Hof . From 1856 to 1861, Nagel was a member of the second chamber of the Württemberg estates for the Oberndorf district .

In 1869, Nagel moved his law firm to Rottweil.
