Wilhelm Heinrich Murschel

Wilhelm Heinrich Murschel (born September 13, 1795 in Stuttgart ; † January 17, 1869 there ) was a Württemberg liberal politician.

After studying law at the University of Tübingen , Murschel worked as a lawyer in Stuttgart. In Tübingen he joined the Arminia fraternity (later Germania ) in 1816 .

From 1833 to 1838 and from 1847 to 1849 Murschel belonged to the second chamber of the Württemberg state parliament as a liberal member of parliament, and from 1848 to 1849 he was President of Parliament.

In 1847 he was a participant in the Heppenheim conference . He then belonged to the pre-parliament and the Fifties Committee . From May 18, 1848 to January 22, 1849 he was a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly as a member of Balingen . Murschel belonged to the Westendhall faction .

From 1856 to 1861 he was again a member of the Württemberg state parliament.
