Friedrich Nath (born January 24, 1859 in Stallupönen ; † June 16, 1929 in Berlin ) was a German landscape painter and craftsman .

Life

Nath studied at the Danzig School of Arts and Crafts with Wilhelm August Stryowski and then at the Berlin School of Applied Arts and privately with Hermann Eschke . After completing his studies, he worked as a freelance landscape painter in Berlin. He went on study trips a. a. to Denmark and Italy . He visited the United States around 1888 . From 1887 he took part in the great Berlin art exhibitions . He became a member of the General German Art Cooperative .
