Friedrich Pachmayr

Friedrich Pachmayr (born August 8, 1931 in Munich ; † December 1, 2011 ) was a German food chemist and businessman .

Career

Pachmayr came as the son of the Munich businessman Otto Pachmayr and Elisabeth Pachmayr, nee. Fedoroff, to the world. After studying and doing a PhD rer. nat. At the University of Munich , he joined the family-owned beverage wholesaler Otto Pachmayr GmbH & Co Mineralwasser KG as authorized signatory in 1960 together with his brother Hans-Dieter . After taking over the management, they expanded the company into one of the leading beverage wholesalers in Bavaria.

In addition, he was chairman of the medicinal and mineral water trade association for 31 years (formerly: Association of German medicinal fountain traders). In his final years there, he made a decisive contribution to the restructuring of the association into a moderate service provider.
