Friedrich Reichert

Andreas Friedrich Reichert (born May 31, 1824 in Frankenbach ; † August 6, 1907 there ) was a German economist and politician . From 1876 to 1882 he was a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Württemberg Land estates .

Life

Reichert was an economist in Frankenbach and there from 1859 to 1867 and from 1886 mayor and long-time member of the local council . His parents were Christian Reichert (1784–1862) from Frankenbach and Elisabetha Barbara Gebhardt (1790–1845). He had five siblings, but they all died before he was born. On November 26th he married Johanna Friedericke Kuder. The marriage had ten children, seven of whom died early.

In 1876 Reichert was elected to the Chamber of Deputies in the Heilbronn constituency, to which he belonged for six years. In the next election in 1882, he ran again, but only got the third highest number of votes behind the constituency winner Georg Härle and his again-candidate predecessor Karl Haag and did not make it into the runoff election .
