Life

In the election to the Chamber of Deputies in 1868 he took office in the Heilbronn constituency against the former member Bernhard Nickel from Heilbronn and against Samuel Bachmann from Neckargartach ( VP ). In the runoff election , Haag prevailed against Bachmann. In the next election in 1870 he ran again and clearly won against the candidate August Becher. In 1882 he ran again in the same constituency and received more votes than Friedrich Reichert , who had won the election in 1876, but lost in the runoff against Georg Härle from the VP.
