Friedrich Schalk

Friedrich Schalk (born July 11, 1887 in Bömighausen ; † October 31, 1962 in Eschwege ) was a German teacher and politician ( DNVP ).

Schalk was the son of the farmer Heinrich Schalk and his wife Karoline nee Rohde. He married Luise Schüttler on May 30, 1914 in Wetterburg.

Schalk attended the Homberg school teacher seminar from 1906 to 1909 and passed the examination for elementary school service. From 1909 to 1910 he was an apprentice in Hüddingen, and in 1911 a teacher in Hundsdorf. In the same year he passed the second teacher examination at the school teacher seminar in Usingen . From 1911 to 1912 he was a teacher in Züschen before he held the second teaching position in Twiste from 1912 to 1914. From 1914 to 1927 he was a teacher in Wetterburg and from 1927 rector in Mengeringhausen.

From 1925 to 1929 he was a member of the Waldeck regional representation for the DNVP .
