Friedrich Schoch

Friedrich Schoch (* 1952 in Thaleischweiler ) is a German legal scholar.

Life

Schoch studied law at the University of Mainz from 1971 to 1976 . He passed his state law exams in 1976 and 1979. In 1981 he received his doctorate from the University of Kiel , where he completed his habilitation in 1987. In 1988 Schoch became a professor at the University of Münster , and in 1992 he was appointed to the University of Freiburg . Since 1998 he has been a part-time judge at the Baden-Württemberg Administrative Court .

Schoch worked as a DFG expert reviewer and is a member of the research association for the development of an information code for the Federal Republic of Germany and of the “Municipalities” study commission of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament . From 2005 to 2007 he was chairman of the Association of German Constitutional Law Teachers .

Friedrich Schoch is married.
